My brother in-law is an idiot (long vent)

My sister called me this morning, she finally threw my brother in law out of the house.

I'll try to make a long story short, but this idiot has been lying to my sister about HAVING A JOB (Hello) for almost a year now. What an idiot, how did he think she would not find out... He 'hooked' the car to get money and she busted him on that months ago. They started counseling and he just kept lying...

She went to see him a work Friday and found out, he doesn't work where he said and never did.

I'm just floored at the level of stupidity that some people have. And they have 2 small children 4 and 7 year old girls....



I'm SOOOOO PISSED!!!!! AHHH-- how dare he do this to my sister and nieces......

She calls a lawyer tomorrow, he had the nerve to say he'd fight for the girls.....

Needed to vent to someone outside the family, thanks!!!

he will not get custody of your nieces, no sane judge would grant that.

Just be there for your sis, she needs you now more than ever.

What an a$$hole. This guy has serious issues. Make sure your sister documents EVERYTHING. With no job he will not get custody. But since this guy is good at lying she needs to watch herself!! She needs to keep records of everything. Like the name of the guy that said he didn't work there and never did.

Jamie is right make sure that she keeps excellent records, people turn into complete dirtbags when stuff like this happens! A woman I work with has a weasel of an ex and he gets paid of the books by his own father and keeps his money in his GF's name so he doesn't have to pay child support

More than an idiot, he is a true jerk...

My sister told her daughters that their daddy was moving out her 4 year old daughters response was:

'Good, all he does is yell at me and spank me'

This broke all our hearts when we heard this.....

Please, please tell your sister to get a good attorney. Just because her ex does not have a job does not mean that he will not get custody or at the very least visitation with your nieces on a regular basis. You would be absolutely amazed at how easily a shrewd attorney can turn things around to make the innocent parent look bad.

My daughter went through this with her ex boyfriend (my granddaughter's father). Even though he had 2 DWI's (including one from a hit and run accident where he hurt another person), and no job he was granted joint custody of my granddaughter. His lawyer argued that because my daughter worked, she was not able to take care of her all the day, whereas her ex wasn't working so he was able to stay at home and care for her!!!! Yeah...stay home, live off his new girlfriend and drink to the point of passing out! Great decision your honor!!!!

In addition, during one of his visitations he and his new girlfriend packed up and moved to Virginia with my granddaughter, without telling my daughter. I ended up hiring a private investigator to find them, which cost mucho buckos, and only after 4 months of searching did we get her back!!

I wish your sister the best of luck!!! Hopefully her ex will just take a hike and leave her and the kids alone.

Wow Wendy that is really scary!!! I hope your granddaughter and daughter are both safe now.
