My brother's Land's End wedding...
Grill Room - Rehersal Dinner: My brother and SIL had car problems on their way out to LI on Friday so they were running very late. The Grill Room was very accomodating and allowed us to push the RD back an hour. They were still a little late, so they allowed us to hang out by the bar until the bride and groom arrived. There was a jazz band for entertainment and they had a great menu selection.
Land's End: The ceremony was outside in the gazebo overlooking the water. It was gorgeous and the perfect location for my brother and SIL. The rooms were beautiful and the MD and bridal attendant were very attentive. The food was amazing. I didn't get a chance to eat anything at the cocktail hour but the dinner was delicious. Very tasty martinis too!
Pastor April: The ceremony was beautiful, and again, perfect for my brother and SIL. She seemed like a very sweet woman too so I'm sure she was easy to work with.
Lovin Oven: The flowers were awesome! I loved the colors. They incorporated everything my SIL asked for. I took home a CP and my bouquet and they still look very fresh.
Limos: (FM me for name of company) Only issue of the day. My mom ordered 2 12 passanger limos for the bridal party to take us from the hotel to Land's End. They sent a 10 passanger for the guys so my Dad had to drive, and the FOB came with the shuttle bus a little later. My mom called to tell them what had happened and the person she spoke with basically told her she was wrong. She is supposed to speak with someone about it today so we will see what they say…
I don't know who the other vendors were but they were great too. My SIL said she plans on writing a review of her own.
I had an awesome time, and now I really can't wait for my own wedding!!!
