My cake!!! Is it to much money???

I was quoted $600 for this cake (5 tiers to feed 120 people). Do you think that is too much money? It will have a very thin layer of fondant and buttercream underneath the fondant. It will have two different fillings.

Please be honest and let me know if I am paying too much!!

I was quoted $500 for the same cake in buttercream

My cake was $7 a slice and nowhere near as fancy... go for it!

I was quoted $10-$12 a slice for this:

I gave up finding reasonable bakeries that tasted good, so I'm opting for an ice cream wedding cake for $3.50 a slice

And since the ice cream cake can get iffy... I'm also doing a viennese table with cake for cutting ceremony at $10 a person.

Definitely not....MY cake cost over $3000 so I think $600 sounds great!

that seems about right....i actually think for fondant that that's pretty good. Although keep in mind, depending on ur bakery/hall they CAN achieve almost the same smooth look with buttercream(and it tastes better too! lol) here's a photo of my cake....all buttercream..YUM!!

Thanks!!! Can you FM where you got your cake at? I love the cake!!! It looks beautiful I can't believe is buttercream!!! What fillings did you pic? And could you provide me with a price range you paid? It doesn't have to be the exact amount
