The mechanic said I've run my car to the ground

I need 4 new tires, brakes, oil leak fix, my spark plugs are DEAD, all filters are filthy

It's not my fault I drive 100 miles/day and have no time for regular checkups

Can you trust your mechanic? I was totally ripped off by one particular place who told me I needed new brakes and i had to get them done immediately.
I should have listened to my instincts,instead I let the idiot replace them. They have been squeaking all over the place since he touched them and I brought it back several times and he claims not to hear a thing.
Anyway, I learned from my mistakes and I will never go back there.

Well, the family has used him for years. I'm such a dodo when it comes to the car, so who knows.

Although my brother did tell me I should change my spark plugs and that my brakes were making a grinding sound, but I didnt listen

Sue, I agree. One time I got something fixed, oh yeah a radiator flush or something.
Conveniently 2 weeks later the radiator broke down, and I had to replace it
I think that monster (different mechanic) put holes in my radiator so I would have to come back
But I couldnt prove it

I am a firm believer in what comes around goes around so I feel that the mechanic who totally ripped me off and ruined my brakes will eventually get his.

The guy I dealt with was so full of (&(* that he couldn't even look me in the eyes.He kept looking at the floor.(A sure sign of a lier!)

if it's shutting off, check to make sure that they are tight...have your bro check it for you.. also check and see for yourself.. do you regularly get oil changes? Brakes, well, it's inevitable.. if you hear grinding chances are you need new ones, but ALL of them? I wish I could refer all of you to my uncle.. he's fabulous..
