my florist had it ready for me today (I think it looks much better in person thatn in the photos-- but here it is) **Also he used peonies in this centerpiece instead of dahlias.....I like peonies better-- but he said he's using dahlias for the real thing since my BQ will have peonies--he doesn't want them to match--to 'take away from my bouquet--- does that reallly matter? are dahlias more expensive or cheaper than peonies??

The reason he used peonies is he didn't have dahlias -not their season yet --so he substituted with the peonies
Also the centerpiece smells out of this world!! It's so fragrant!!

Dahlias are less expensive than peonies-peonies only have a may-june season so they are one of the priciest flowers out there. Dahlias are summer. We are using them in my bouqet-they are fluffy and happy looking.

dahlias are WAY cheaper. technically they are a late summer through fall flower but most florists can get them out of south america these days most times of the year. not peonies though - only may and june for the best ones although you can get them out of holland at other times but they are super $$. they look great! dahlias wont take up as much space as the peonies but it will be close.
