My wedding is 12 days away, I was so excited when someone on this board told me about pink Lindt truffles. Well, I found them last week, the sales person even gave me 50 for free. I got my ribbon to match, and we were going to start filling the bags, and tying the ribbon tonight. Well, I left the chocs in my office in the computer server room, where they installed a very expensive air conditioning system. I found out first thing this morning that all weekend long it was 90 degrees in there!!! So, I was about to cry, it's $70 worth of chocolate, and now I have to pray that the store has more pink ones. But, all I can do to keep sane here is be thankful that it wasn't my dress getting ruined or something worse! I'm quite upset and stressed as it is, but I have to laugh at myself too! Just wanted to share and vent!

Nina, this will be VERY funny someday soon! You should melt them all down in a pot and treat your FH to chocolate fondue some night! Get some strawberries and have a chocolate Lindt dinner party!

Oh, no-Nina, I'm so sorry to hear of the meltdown! It's good to hear that you are taking this very well. Thank you for reminding us all to keep the important part of our day in mind and not to sweat the small stuff. By the way, let me know if you need help 'disposing' of the melted truffles

Thanks for the great idea, you made my feel better! The store in the Source has more for me. I'm going to take a day off next week, and fill my favor bags!

Write this in your planning book. Your children will laugh with you someday about this. Right now it isn't very funny., but like the other girls I promise it will be this time next year.

Nina, I feel horrible about the chocolate. Are they completely melted or just very soft? I brought a few home with me and they got very soft (the inside turned to liquid). I put them in the fridge for a while and then let them sit in room temperature to see if the would go back to normal. They did. If they are not completely melted try that. I hope it works!!

Awwww...Nina, that stinks! But you are taking it really well, and I'm just glad for you that they had more of the pink ones! Now all I keep thinking about is smores!! Yummy!
