So, i have definitely been struggling with this for a while. Favors were really getting the best of me, especially since i did want to keep it to the Christmas Theme. I had considered christmas cookies, but then i found out that the hall is providing an unlimited amount on each table already, so it just seemed overkill. And I really didn't want to do an ornament since that's what everybody does (and i honestly don't feel like people are going to want to put something on their tree with mine and FH's name on it) I just really wanted something DIFFERENT!
So FINALLY I came up with this - and i love it. Little Mini Christmas Trees! haha. What do ya think? They're live bonsai plants (which people are likely to kill since for some reason it's not understood that things must be watered, but whatever. lol) It'll look nice on the tables and they actually smell good too. I just got my first example one last week and I thought I'd share
I think i'm going to dress 'em up a little too. Not sure yet, but I might add a little something to make them more 'christmasy' like maybe a little present underneath or turtle doves on a branch. Just brainstorming. lol.
(I got 'em from Imperial Bonsais in Suffolk County, btw. FM me if ya want details)

Such a cute idea!!! I think if you just put a red ribbon around the stump it would be perfect.

well, they can be expensive - depending. Size makes a difference with price and all of that. For these, they were around $3.00 for each one, which wasn't bad because I'm not having a huge wedding and I'm doing only one per household.

Really cute, just an idea, you can go to michaels and get small red bows or garland to help decorate it too. They have lots of stuff for little trees like this (This is what my current xmas tree looks like..lol)
