My Church and construction....

My pastor told me this Saturday that the alter is probably going to be under construction at the time of my wedding. He assured me that they will clear out all equipment and such, but I am so upset. We have a beautiful alter and they are putting up a pipe organ (that when done will be beautiful), but I don't want all my pics ruined b/c of some unfinished construction job. My church is the only one in my denomination in the area with air conditioning. Do you think I should **** it up and have it there, or should I look to see if I can have the ceremony in another church and see if I can bring my pastor? Do you think the air conditioning is an issue (end of june wedding)? I am freaking out over this. HELP!!!!

The church where I will be getting married at will be having some construction done during the time of my wedding. The monsignor said that the only thing that will really affect my wedding is that the A/C won't be at it's full capacity and that it will be a little warm. My wedding is in August! I'm ****ing it up because it took me so long to find a church that will even marry us since we don't belong to the parish. Some people will probably be a little uncomfy but it's not like we'll be in there all day. Make sure you talk to the church that they will indeed have the equipment and what not removed, which I'm sure they will since they wouldn't want a hazardous zone. Also talk to your photographer so he's aware and will know how to position the photo taking if need be. Good luck!
