My Church called

I am so excited my church FINALLY called me back. My FI and I have an appointment for Monday. This is such a relief, wedding planning here I come!

You must be relieved... We began looking at reception halls and would like to book ASAP but we're still waiting for the church to return our call. We can't book until we set a date with the church and its so frustrating! Still waiting...

After 3 months of getting the blow-off from my monsignor, and then when we finally got in touch with him, he told me to wait until 6 months before the wedding to talk...we were like 'yeahhh right'
So we booked the caterer. I hope it all works out, If it were up to my priest, there would be no vendors left.

my sisters first church told her that they wouldn't have the ceremony 4 months before the wedding (AFTER) she booked b/c she didn't live in the town (my parents live 2 blocks away - and my mom still gives a donation every year - although does not attend)...the church in her town was already booked...so they were able to find her FH's families church...

agita: yes...but always remember things can work out!
