My cleaning lady is slacking?

My cleaning lady is slacking?

I noticed that the floors weren't mopped except for the kitchen and bathroom....and there were a lot of dust balls in the corners. There were also some other things that were not done.

I love her....she has worked for me for over a year and she is great with Chloe. But she is also not cheap....for the amount of space she needs to clean.

Do I say something or just leave a note asking her to do specific things next time?

I just leave specific notes for things I want her to pay special attention to. I find that after a while, anyone that I have starts to slack. I look at it this way....if I have to spend 1 hour for the week to fix anything she missed....it's much better than me spending my whole Saturday doing the cleaning myself!

I agree tell her what you need done and mention that she might have overlooked the dust balls in the corner last time. Its hard when the relationship overtime becomes more friendly that business.

I agree...she works for you and you are paying her good money. You can say it in a nice way that you want her to pay closer attention to certain things. Give her a chance and if she doesn't do a better job, call in someone else! You should not be taken advantage of just because you are friendly with her. She should want to do more for you if you are so friendly with her!
