And I know it's irrelevant but....it's a huge rock!!!! the center stone alone is 2 carats!!! but it is beautiful! It's kind of funny b/c she seems embarassed that it's so big.....but at least its nice that she didn't EXPECT a huge rock, she was really surprised- they went to a friends wedding in Puerto Rico over the weekend and he proposed on the beach on Sunday. there are now a total of 5 people (including me) in my office that are engaged!!! we are all part time wedding planners lol!!!

A co-worker and I are engaged and getting married the same day I am .. She knew my date and then she changed her date to my date...
Well the reason she changed it was because she is pregnant!!! It was a surprise.....
Its so cool!! I am happy for her
Another guy in my department is getting married in June....

My office is the same way....there is a total of 7 of us.....5 getting married this year.....1 next....and 1 in 2009!! All we talk about is weddings!

There are 5 people in my office that are engaged too! Oh wait, we work in the same office bad joke, I know! But for real... I have never seen a rock as big as the one this girl got!

hey out of the 5 your the only one I recruited on to LIW!!! I'm so happy for her!! I hope her wedding is in 2008 though......I don't know where we can fit in another office wedding in '07!!!

2 girls in my office just got engaged too. It's SO fun because they are just starting with their planning and shopping. It's the first time I get to play 'expert' because I'm further along in all that. They don't live in LIEU or even Queens though...too Bad.

I couldn't have said it better! I work with 11 men!!! Actually they will occasionally talk wedding with me, but it's far and few between.

At least the girl is modest about the ring! My ex-boss had a massive rock and made it a point to tell EVERYONE she met that it was 3.5 carats. If I heard it one more time I thought I was going to puke.

I'm with you on that! I work in a small office where 2 people are getting divorced and 1 is long divorced. Not much happy wedding vibes going on here!
