that post is A LOT different then the other one about sunday weddings, which yea is offensive to some...obviously you are in the minority here

i dont think a good comedian is necessarily an offensive one, some of the things on the site gave me a chuckle, but some were just plain offensive...

Is the whole site supposed to be a satire on wedding planning? I can see some funny parts on it but I think its more insulting than anything.

Oh yea I love his part about the 4th of July weddings and how it cost less for the hall which I can personally tell you is not 100% true. Some halls have a discount but most dont. Sorry just had to set the record straight.

Honestly: the shiit is funny. The gift calculator: hysterical, the magazine cover: one of the funniest things ever.

That being said: As a bride who is having a Sunday night wedding there is a part of me that does feel guilty about keeping people out until 12am. But hey, that's the way the cookie crumbles. And I think it is safe to say that when something that is 'funny' strikes a nerve people (including me) tend to get a little sensitive about it.

It is a joke: some of us see at as that and some of us were a little offended.

The bigger picture: our weddings will be lovely and I'm sure people will forgive us - let's move on.

Yeah, this guy is a comedian, so it's supposed to be tongue in cheek, but I can see how it can offend brides. I saw him perform a few times. From what I remember, he is recently married! Maybe he had a Sunday night wedding and that's where he got his material from.
