FH just called to tell me that our computer isn't working right- Windows can't run for some reason. When you turn it on the Window loading screen comes up and then it goes black and plays some funny music (that's really irritating!!).
Bad news is this is my last day at work until Thursday! Meaning after today no LIW

Did you try pressing F12 before it loads windows??

I'm hoping it's not a virus- I told him to try that (first thing I can think of also was to do that) - and he said nothing happened

yeah computers suck - they just die after a while -- i've been backing up my files since last week - i try to do this once a year - it takes up soooooo much time!!!! Technology is great WHEN it works!

Yes fortunately it was FH's computer (I have my own laptop but no internet on it atm)... he was more mad than anything about it.
I am going to take it to someone to see if it can be fixed- if not then we need to buy a new computer.
He's blaming me and my music- I only download stuff from Napster and I know that's pretty safe.

Sounds like a virus though.... Especially if weird music is coming on with a black screen? thats a little weird....

Yeah I know- going to try and see what they can do to fix it - gonna take it to a repair shop hopefully this week. I can't stand having no computer.

My computer was doing the same thing with the weird music back in October. I know how you feel...it really sux!!!!! I brought it to the geek squad and they had to wipe out the whole system because the virus was that bad!

Yes was going to bring it to Best Buy or a place close to work that does it for $50.00.
FH just wants to buy a new computer since it's 5 years old already.
