My Custom aisle runner

yea...got the first pics of my finished custome runner! So excited! this was one of my splurges...tried to make my own but gave up...Lol

Well I have a projector at school so I was thinking about bringing it home an projecting the image right onto the runner and then tracing it that way so hopefully it wont be too hard. How did you try to do it?

I followed diy instructions from the boards...did a computer stencil print out..layed it out on the floor...i guess it was just too much work...i got lazy. i justified the splurge since I am diy on most everything else...lol

Does anyone know where you would get just a plain runner to DIY? I think I might do that. I saw the instructions but I am not artsy so I am afraid I will screw it up. But all you have to do it print your mongram tape it to the surface you are using. Put the runner on top of it trace the monogram in pencil and then paint... I think with acrylics... but put wax paper down underneath before you paint to it doesn't soak through and stick to the surface... Can't be that hard can it???
