that he would like to dance with me to his and my mom's wedding song for our father/daughter dance. I thought that was so cute! I could never tell him that I don't like the song, especially because it means a lot to him, but I think it's really sweet Just thought I'd share!

that's so sweet rachel!! my dad told me the song he wanted us to dance to also - he chose it so that his friends could all see him cry! aren't fathers the cutest?

That is SO sweet!!! I have to tell you that my dad and I were not really close, and he passed away before I got married, but I would have LVOED to have a special father/daughter relationship so I think it's so awesome to hear thing like this.

i was just curious- i think its adorable. my dad is getting so mushy now that my wedding is 18 days away. Were dancing to Because you loved me by celine dion.. he is so excited.. i like the song, not my first choice but he loves the words...

That is really sweet. My dad and I have been struggling with that one. I would suggest that my dad and I dance to my parents' wedding song, but I think they may want to dance to it together.
Have fun dancing with dad. They can be so sweet and mushy when they realize their little girls are getting married.

That is so cute! My own dad passed away, and as kind of a trubuite to him our first dance is my parents wedding song. I asked my mom if that would be OK. And best thing..I love the song. Its 'could this be Magic' by the Dubs...an old 50's song.

that is sooo sweet! my step dad wants to pick the song and it's hard to let him. don't get me wrong i think he is a great guy and all but i don't want a real father daughter dance seice my own dad passed away 7 years ago. i don't know what to do!
