My Daddy Rocks...
August 20th is my birthday and since my dad pastor's a congregation I asked him to not announce it to the church... He wanted to know if I am crazy... He pointed out that this is my last birthday at home, the last birthday that he will be responsible for me, yada, yada, yada, so he has to make it a good one... the man turned the whole thing into a big celebration at our home... everyone from our church will be invited and other family and friends... I am not the party type, and try to avoid being the center of attention, so I've been trying to ask my parents to cancel the whole thing, but the fact that my dad would even think of doing such a thing for me blows me away, and since it will make him happy I figure he deserves at least this much for being a dad amongst dads for the 20+ years of my life.
