I believe you should have anyone you want walking you down the aisle! It's your day, you do what you want.

A friend had her mother walk down the aisle with her and it was lovely.

I think it's a wonderful idea.

I think it's ok to have mom & sis do it though I'd probably just ask mom or an uncle.

My dad died years ago, and i am having my mom and sis walk me down the aisle. They are both so thrilled and everyone I twll thinks it's a great idea...

That's fine. My FH SIL had her mother walk her down the aisle...they are very close and since her parents got divorced, she's not as close with her father and thought it was only appropriate.

You can have whoever you want walk you down the aisle or you can walk by yourself. one of my friends has a father, but was raised by her grandparents. she decided instead of causing any hard feelings she is just walking down the aisle by herself.

My dad is not in my life and my mom was pretty much my mom and dad throughout my life, and therefore only she will have the honor of giving me away...

My mom is walking me down the aisle. My dad passed away a couple of years ago. It is fine to have your mom and sister walk with you.

my 'father' (if i can even call him that) will NOT be walking me down the aisle or be invited to my wedding. if he chooses to attend, it's as my mother's guest.

i'm having one of my uncles walk me down the aisle, not sure who yet. or i may walk down by myself.

Totally, My sister is walking me down the aisle and if my mom was still alive she would have been on my other arm.
