I went florist shopping today and boy was I dissapointed!!! I went to four locations and only felt good about one of them. I don't understand why a florist believes that their vision for your wedding is better. The price differences are funny too. One charges 15 for corsages the other 25. 75-150 for cake flowers. 110-185 for bouquet. 60-85 for bridesmaids. I was most digusted with my reception sites vendor. Way overpriced for crapy flowers. I'm sorry if you want me to consider your store don't give me a wilted flower to take home! I asked that same vendor, 'What break do I get being that your a vendor of my site?' He told me, 'Your getting the throw away bouquet.' Give me a break!!! Everyone was giving me that plus plenty of extras. Out of the approximately 8 places I've been too, I've only liked one. I still haven't checked, La Blossom, Flowers by Michelle, National Floral and Pedestals in LI. Maybe I'll feel better after visiting these florists. I was also told by one florist that I need to buy my own vases (???) Anyways, sorry for venting, but Im starting to hate flower shopping!!!!

That's next on my list and you're scaring me!! I had no idea you need to check more than a few vendors! I think you can rent the vases, but some florists have them... hmm i better get cracking.. I hear nothing but great reviews from National floral wholesalers. There is a link on this website if you email them they send you their coupons/packages... i still need to make an appointment with them.

I think you'll feel better once you meet with these florists. They are all VERY popular on here, and reasonably priced. I am using LA Blossom and Laurie worked with me to get EXACTLY what I wanted for much less than i expected!

So far flower shopping hasn't been so great for me either! One shop (NOT a LIW vendor) told us that they require payments only in cash.

All of those florists are good. If you are going to check out NWF, definitely check out Signature Florist down the road. George beat NWF's prices and his sample cp was great. Leese and JessicaM are also using him and love him!

Flower by Michelle are reasonable and they are a vendor of LIW. Burtons and JAmes Crest are just as good. Continue shopping around until you are satisfied!!!!!!
