So here I was about a year ago signing FH up for communion/conformation adult classes with our church. He has been going religously.. no joke.. from October until this May. Tonight, he is making his communion and conformation at the 2 hour Easter Vigil. My sister is his sponsor. He picked the name..get this.. JUDE. Oh.. I can see my future now.
Anyways.. do you think I should get him a cross or something else? Help! Where can I get one online?? Maybe a Mets jersey instead!
So I will be in church tonight, being the great Catholic fiance I am. Miss me ladies!!!!

Congrats to your FH - that is amazing. . . it takes so much devotion and faith to receive the sacraments as an adult!
The Easter Vigil is a beautiful ceremony - I just watched it on TV at the Vatican and it is so moving. . . I always wanted to go but my parents go to mass on Easter morning.
As for a gift, I think a cross would be a great gift to express his new journey! And maybe take him out to show him that you support him - just to dinner at his favorite place or something like that.
