My Debi Bride Update
Deb just called. She came home from work; Not feeling well,sinus infection. They had a staff meeting today. One of her top bosses, on seeing her pink planner, said,'What do you have there, a pink planner?' Debi said,'It's for breast cancer awareness, are you discriminating against colors?' Another boss commented on her boots; We ARE having snow today!! And then the top boss commented on her medication. Cheese and crackers, these men!!! Picky, Picky, Picky!!!!!!!!! However,one great thing coming from staff meeting!! The Growth Company Meetings are going to be in Jan., in Florida!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Her car ir being repaired. The first garage said she had an air compressor problem, and it would be up to $2000 to fix it. NOT!!!!!!! The Toyota dealer where she bought her car in '98, said there was NO air compressor problem. The car does have some other minor issues, like a low battery, and a leak in the radiator pipe. The bill will be about $1000, and Deb has a 10% off coupon, so $100 off. That's better than $2000!!!!! So, she wants to get the STD' s ready to send this weekend. They didn't put their website on; They plan to print separate cards to include with the STD's, because
when Fred's best friend's coworkers got hold of their wedding site, they posted all kinds of stuff that was upsetting to the Bride. He said his coworkers have already been looking for the site.
Then Debi and I talked about her shower. Since her schedule going into the new year is crazy, she gave me two dates she would be available if anyone wants to have a shower/bachelorette for her, those dates being May 31st and June 7th. She's given me some ideas. I decided to have Roseanna and Jill do my hair and make-up for the wedding, but I still don't have a dress. I keep hoping I'll wake up and be thinner. After dieting several times, I don't feel like I can eat another Lean Cuisine!!!!!!!!!!! But I will if I have to. Mary MOB
