So it turns out I'll be moving from San Diego to Boston since my DH got accepted into Harvard Business school for his MBA this fall. I've never been to Boston!
Is it nice? Expensive? Fun?

It's all three! Not quite as expensive as NYC though. My FH went to college in Boston, and loved it. Get ready for COLD winters, it's freezing up there! Congrats to DH!

Nah, Bostonians probably wouldn't be too thrilled to see a Yankees hat. They're just jealous!!!!
I haven't been to Boston in a long time but I remember LOVING the North End. Lots of wonderful little Italian restaurants...

Boston is about as expensive as NY... It can be fun, but it takes a little getting used to. They still follow the Blue Laws, so there is no alcohol on Sundays, no beer in grocery stores (as far as I remember) and the night clubs & bars call last call at 1:30 to close at 2am.
The area near Harvard is very nice. Congratulations to you & DH... that is an impressive accomplishment.
BTW... what degree will he be pursuing at Harvard?

Your hubby must be really smart. BTW I love Boston, its a great city. The suburbs are nice too.
