So it turns out I'll be moving from San Diego to Boston since my DH got accepted into Harvard Business school for his MBA this fall. I've never been to Boston!
Is it nice? Expensive? Fun?

Congratulations to your DH! I like Boston. It's compact (the city itself), but it's got charm! The train system is hard to understand at first but it should be easier once you get the hang of it. The suburbs (Brookline, Dorchester) are not that far a train ride if you decide to live out of the city. Literally like 20 mins by train. I would move up there if FH wanted to live up there again. I think winters can be a bit tough.

They still follow the Blue Laws, so there is no alcohol on Sundays
I don't know if they still do, or if not all bars do because we had drinks the Sunday evening we were in Boston over Labor day weekend, in our hotel lounge. Unless it's during the day only?

Congrats to him! I love Boston - I have quite a few friends living there, and it's my favorite short trip to go visit there and spend a weekend. There's so much to do there. If I didn't love NYC so much, I would move there in a heartbeat.
