My DH Surprises Me
The other day I went home from work early because I felt crappy. I was running a fever and had a horrible headache.
He came home and saw how awful I felt, then he heard the mister softee truck coming down the street. He asked me if I wanted mister softee and I kind of nodded (what girl doesn't want ice cream). He jumped in his truck and went on a mission to find the truck. He came back 10 minutes later and announced that he drove all over the place looking for him but couldn't find him. He felt so bad. I can't believe he did that for me. Even though I didn't get ice cream, I got a better treat. After 7 years of marriage and 16 years of being together he will still go to great lengths to make me happy. It was a small thing, but he just came home and was tired. He didn't have to do that.
