So here's my dilemma and I dont know what to do! Our budget is rather tight... so we are trying to do things the nicest while sticking to it. Soooo.... our venue is a hotel as well. But they can only give us 10 rooms for a discounted rate. After the 10 rooms are taken the rate goes to o $450...which is crazy! No one is going to pay that. Idk what to do because we only get these 10 rooms! and EVERYONE wants to stay! I got two other hotel blocks, but one is 15 minutes and the other is 25 minutes away. We only have a few out of town guests and they are family who will most likely stay with other family. But its not really in the budget to get a shuttle to the hotels and my FH thinks its rediculous that we should have to shuttle people. WHAT DO I DO?>! Thanks ladies!! PS- none of the hotels in the areas have shuttles. I tried.

Re: My dilemma
How many more rooms do you need? Maybe someone else can reserve the room block in their name?

Re: My dilemma
Try calling some companies to price out a shuttle..otherwise I'm sure your guests can find there own way
It would be nice to give your guests transportation but not totally necessary

Re: My dilemma
I would definitely seriously consider providing shuttle service for your guests.

Re: My dilemma
a shuttle service shouldn't be that expensive. Maybe you can contact your limo service and see if they have any recommendations if they themselves do not provide some type of shuttle

Re: My dilemma
wow, I can't believe they are only letting you reserve 10 rooms at a discounted price! I mean you are holding an event there and I'm sure spending a pretty penny, it just doesn't make sense. I would try to get a count of how many rooms you will need and then tell them you can guarantee x amount. Tell them your guests will have to get rooms elsewhere and therefore spend their money elsewhere if they can't work on the room count with you!

Re: My dilemma
Some ppl won't mind the travel time. However, try calling Camelot Limo for pricing on shuttles anyway. I don't think they are that expensive. Joe is really nice and may be able to work with you.
