My direction cards... UPDATED

Well are they ok? Would you be able to find your way around?

If it's really as simple as it looks...VC located on Route 25?
Then yes, they look good as well as easy to follow.

the only thing i would suggest is to make a bigger distinction between your landmarks and the VC. but otherwise, it is great!

Looks very easy to follow.

Just a suggestion...I would try to make the names of the locations with the houses stand out a little more. The houses fade into the background. Are they gonna be in B&W? If so, maybe put the names in all caps or different font.

I agree!
It is easy to follow for directions...Maybe put the house picture in color for the VC? Or use a different icon?

VC needs to be larger or in color...or even put a big picture of grapes right above it or a little pic of a wine bottle and/or a wine glass...that would look cute!

I would also include the traffic circle with the hospital as a frame of reference. Otherwise do as the girls suggested and it's really good.

Oh, and the number of miles from Exit 73 to the Vineyards. (But it may just be me though - I like lots of details!)

Ok, I don't know that part of LI, but does Rte 58 turn into Rte 25? They are the same line on the map. That could confuse someone.

I like them though...it's a thoughtful idea for your guests.

that's probably a good idea, or some kind of reference point because the Best Western is pretty far up 58.

You have Westhampton Bath & Tennis on there. Is anyone staying there or going there for any reason? If so - you definitely need clearer directions. You need the names fo the streets - it isn't that easy to find. The streets change names seveal times. I can't comment on the rest but I know that I would get lost going to the B&T with these directions.

the map looks great, but i would also include worded directions on the back.

i.e. LIE to exit 72-73, turn north onto Route 25 etc...

I live in Riverhead and grew up in Mattituck. I know my way around here PERTY well.

Yes, 58 and 25 meet at one point. 25 acutally goes through downtown riverhead and joins with 58 by the DMV.

I am sending these along with my VINEYARD direction cards. We are having an after party at my moms (I deleted that map section for safetys sake). I made these for location of hotels and directions to my moms.
