My DIY invites

Ok so here is a preview of my invites and they are not completely done yet. The first picture is of it closed, which we will be adding a tag with our names on it. The second pic is it all opened and the cards in the pocketfolds are not complete yet either, but I just put copies in the pockets just to see what it looked like. The third pic is of my actual invite. The flourish in the upper right hand corner will actually be in the bottom left corner bc I put the paper in the printer the wrong way lol.

What do you girls think?

OMG I know, but it will be a great feeling that you actually did something as big as your wedding invitations yourself! You'll always be so happy you did it! GL finishing them!

It was on the paper. I bought a kit at Michaels by Brides Magazine. The reception card has one as well. This kit really is idiot proof! They give you a web site where you can download the templates, and step by step instructions on how to print the different sized papers. The kit came with all the paper, envelopes and ribbons and I added the rhinestone myself. I do have to buy another sheet of cardstock because I need to include the hotel accommodations information.

Here is a bigger picture. Oh yea and I decided that an underlying theme to my wedding will be quotes lol.

I added a quote on the bottom of the invite-'Love is composed of a single soul inhabiting two bodies'

The reception card says 'Eat, drink, and be merry!'

and I am trying to think of something witty for the response card. any ideas?
