if you are displaying it at your RH maybe you can get some framed pictures of the people who passed or with you or your fh with the people who passed and put some rose petals around it too just an idea so all your guests can see it on display

It looks great. I'd love to know how you made it. I want to make one too.

I'd love to know too! I'm making one, but haven't decided if i want it to have a poem/saying and the names, or just plain with a colored ribbon or something, so that i could use it again if i want.

Re: My DIY Memory Candle
Thanks!!!!
-9' pillar candle and a taller candle holder (AC Moore). -Small roll of ribbon (Michaels) - or any size you like -Glue dots continuous line (thanks to another bride mentioning this). Its like glue but not messy, just sticky. -Velum paper (AC Moore) I bought 12x12 but that paper size didnt fit in my printer so by the time I cut it down it was about 8x8. It doesnt go around the candle all the way-oh well lol
I think this is something we can keep, just keep using a new candle.
I've seen brides put the velum paper around the candle itself but then I wondered what happened when it burns? So I decided on the candle holder
