My DIY rehearsal dinner invites w/ pics & directions!
On one of my many wedding related shopping trips I came across a bridal shower 'party pack,' you know the little kit that has matching invites, name tags, ty cards, ect. I already had my shower a few weeks back, but the darn thing was soooooo cute and was on clearance for $5 so I bought it! It's not even my wedding colors but I just couldn't resist![]()
I decided to see if I could somehow revamp the invites to make them work for my rehearsal dinner.
Here is how they came right out of the box
They had a cute ivory flap with cut out detail to the tiffany blue below.
What I did was opened up the ty card to the inside which was blue.
Ran them through the printer and added the 'practice makes perfect' right above the score line. I then trimmed off the lower portion and glued it to the underside of the ivory flap on the 'shower' invitation. You no longer see the 'thank you' but see 'practice makes perfect.'
To cover up the 'shower invite' info, I simply printed my own rehearsal info on ivory cardstock left over from my wedding invites and glued it down.
