My Dog

i am soo sorry..i had gone through this with my childhood dog sandy..the same thing shaking,bathroom problems,and she had lost her sight..they had to put her down also..its such a horrible thing to lose a pet and nothing but time will make u feel better..just keep thinking of all the joy she brought u and ur family..im so sorry and try to be strong

I just got the call our dag Peachees was put down. The vet had even said if she was his dog he would have put her down too. My mom stayed with her when she was put down but my poor brother was too upset to stay in the room and had to wait in the waiting room. I know she is in doggy heaven with our other dog Rosie and our cat Honey.

I'm so sorry about your dog!!! At least Peaches lived a long happy life with a family who loved her enough to do the right thing for her in the end even though it's the hardest thing. I've been there, I know how awful it is, please FM if you need to talk and I will be sending prayers your way!!! So sorry

I am so sorry for your loss.. I know how hard it is to lose a pet but just try to remember all of the good times you had with your dog..

THE RAINBOW BRIDGE POEM

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.


All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

I am literally tearing up as I am reading this...so sorry to hear this. We have a very old dog too (at my parents), he is 13 and he has gotten so fragile and I am dreading this moment so much too.

im sorry. its always so horrible when you lose a pet. Just remember that it lived a long life and its in a better place now.
