My Dr Appointment

My Dr Appointment

Well, everything went OK. Had my Strep culture done today. I asked for the final OK to travel this weekend and my Dr wasn't too happy about me coming to LI for the baptism. I guess I will see how it goes over the next couple of days and decide. He knows how long the trip can be since he, himself, is from Oyster Bay. My husband loves my Dr even more now!

I then asked for him to check the presentation of the baby and he wasn't too sure of himself so he gave me a quick ultrasound and my baby is being stubborn and still breech. I am scheduling my version tomorrow. I asked about the Webster technique and he said he wasn't familiar with it but supported anything that I was willing to try to get the baby to flip. He understands that I would truly prefer to go natural and not schedule a c-section.

Re: My Dr Appointment

Thanks to those who have offered me hugs, it really means a lot right now.

I guess this just adds to the stress of traveling and my IL's and my baby shower...but everything will work out in the end, I guess.

I've researched the Webster Technique and unfortunately, it appears that only perhaps 3 people in Buffalo are trained and qualified to do it. There are like 20 on LI, but I don't think my insurance would cover me then! I am going to call around today and see what I come up with...

Oh, did I mention that the jeweler we bought the cross necklace from (my husband's soon-to-be Goddaughter) has misplaced it???? We just had the chain shortened and now it is MIA.
