My Dream Dress

So, I found my dream dress a few years ago in a magazine when my sister was planning her wedding. The designer is Demetrios. So I assume that they don't have this dress anymore, but do you think the designer would make it? Or do you know where I can go to find out? I love love this dress. TIA!!!

What do you girls think of the dress?

i would try and find out the design number and call around. sometimes places have lingeirng dresses..maybe it'll be your size!

I'm a huge fan of demetrios dresses...so of course I love it.

I would call the macy's bridal in manhattan and manhassatt and see if they have it since they carry all the demetrios dresses. they might also be able to help you find out where you can get it.

beautiful dress! i agree that you should call up some stores and see if they carry it or can direct you to a place that does carry it... maybe you can call up the company itself?

Yes, I emailed them today to see what I have to do. I am not completely set on this dress since I haven't even tried it on, but I love it.

I love the corset/bodice! wow, gorgeous! but the skirt seems way too much for me, but then again I am not a ball gown/full skirt person.
as everybody said, try calling them. try calling the designer directly and asking where it can be available around here. I think thats a faster and more easier approach than emailing, from personal experience

That's exactly what I love about the dress - the corset/bodice. It might be a little too poofy even though I want a full-skirt gown. I guess I will just shop around. Thanks.

Macy's Bridal in Lake Grove only carries Demetrios. Maybe they would have it.

Thanks girls, I'm planning on going to Macy's since they appear to be the only ones who sell them. I just heard mixed reviews about Macy's customer service, so we'll see.

have you tried on a gown simialr to this?

only asking because.............. just cause it looks AWESOME in a pic doesnt mean it will work on you.

Go to the one in Herald Squaer on 34th street. The customer service there is good! That's where i bought my dress and it took less that 3 months to come in!!

I haven't tried it on yet so that's why I'm not set on it. I think what I really love about this is the corset/bodice, not the entire dress per se. So we'll see.
