is in!! i just got the call from davids bridal they have my dress and everything waiting for me. i was told that i wouldn`t be getting it untill september but it`s in already!!! yay can`t wait to go see it. now my mom is like what the he** am i going to do with this dress for a year!?!
congrats! Please be weary (hope this doesn't happen to you), but a couple of girls have been disappointed as David's did not get them new dresses, but attempted to give them samples instead. Be sure to inspect the dress thoroughly when you pick it up!
I am going to have my dress for a while too...I was told to keep it in a cotton dress bag (not those plastic ones)...or if you don't have that, wrap it loosely in a white cotton sheet.

Congrats! I heard of the cotton bag and also make sure no one smokes in your house- it will yellow within a year.

thanks girls!!!! no one smokes in my house (well my mom`s where the dress will be) so i`m not woried about that. but she has a st bernard. i`m worried about the dog hair!!!! gross! so i was looking for the best way to keep it covered. so a white cotton sheet you say? and what about preserving it?? has anyone had to do this before the wedding? and how much does it run????
and as far as getting a sample, that better not be why my dress is in so early!!!!! i`d be livid!!!! it`s my dress i want my own not a used one ya know!?!
