My dress

Original post by MrsHtobe

FINALLY CAME IN!

Bad news is that the bridal shop I'm going to doesn't have any open appointments with the seamstress until October 7th (that are on the weekend or one of the later nights - i work in the city)

I felt kind of annoyed that couldn't find a time for me before then - considering my dress came in 3 weeks later than they promised - but, it is what it is. I insisted on them letting me come in this weekend and try it on until they gave in. . . I had to argue for a few minutes, but oh well. I want to make sure its the right color / size, etc.

ughhhh.

someone tell me that is plenty of time for alterations and I'm fine.

I havent even had a first fitting yet and I'm getting married in 15 days! They can do it FAST if they have to, believe me.

I'd be freaking out LOL.

I'm just nervous it won't fit, but I'm sure I'm just being stupid

Yay!!!! I'm so happy it came in! They can't squeeze you in at all?

not for alterations - but it is what it is. . . as long as there is enough time I am content trying it on this weekend. I just hope my fat a$$ fits in it

Oh now look who's saying they hope their fat a*s fits in their dress.

My dress fitting went fine btw, sleeves look good, or at least I think they do.

That's PLENTY of time, you really don't need that much time to fit in a couple of fittings. Seriously, don't stress.

Re: My dress

on month is plenty of time. i think my first fitting was a month before my wedding. and it'll give you an extra couple of weeks to stay OP

i was so afraid i wouldn't fit into my dress, especially since i had gained like 5 lbs from when i ordered it, but it fit. i actually never even went to visit my dress after it came in to make sure it was the right dress. since it came in later than they told you, i'd go and check it out to make sure it is the right dress.
