Here are the pics for the second pattern fitting. this is done with muslin. after this she will use this pattern to start cutting the silk taffeta and constructing my dress.
in these pics you will notice some lace on the bodice...she is already figuring out where she wants to apply the lace and pearls.
I am throwing my vanity to the wayside in the fourth pic and showing you all my greasy mug to also show you one of the greatest joys in my life...my lovely niece Victoria. she is also trying on her 'dress' (a tank top was sewn into her petticoat so it won't fall down the day of)
I plan on updating this post at every fitting so those interested can see what it's like to go the custom route.

Well well well...I see the dress is finally coming together! I can tell its going to look fabulous! One thing I can see already is that the top and the neckline is definitely flattering your neck and your posture...cant wait to see the final product

thanks ladies. I am going back when I return from Italy (mid December) to see how it's progressing. it's going to take a while to do all of the beading (sewn by hand ) but I am estimating it will be complete in February.
