Hi! Kleinfeld's called yesterday that my dress came in but they suggest I don't come in until the end of January. That worried me but I finally settled for Jan 11. Now I keep thinking I should call back because I was really planning on going over the Holiday break because I'm a teacher and I'm off from school. I'm also having some changes made to the dress and a shrug made for me so I don't want to cut it too close. Does or did anyone else panic when the dress store wanted you to wait until 8 weeks before the wedding for a fitting?? or maybe this is only Kleinfeld's policy I am very happy with them so far but I'm just worried I will be rushed at the end??? what do you think?

2 months b 4 is the usual time for the fittings. i was told to come the end of january

My first fitting (not at Klienfield's) is 6 weeks beofre my wedding. You don;t want to have your fitting too far in advance in case you gain or loose any weight.

I would call them, if you are worried about timing call and tell them your worries. DO they know about the changes you want to make? Maybe make them aware again of what you want to do-this way they can feel it out and maybe they will need more time, rather find out now then later

My first fitting is going to be in March! I think about 2 months before is the time when the shop wants to start with fittings!

No worries, my dress also just came in on the 12th and I'm not having my first fitting until the 2nd week of Jan. also. But, if you feel that the end of DEC would be a better time for you, then I think that you should tell them that and schedule your appt for when you want it. They should work with you!

Well did they give u a reason why they wanted u to wait?? My wedding is october 26 07 and they told me my dress wont even be in the store till september, note I ordered it August 06!!!! U do what makes u comfortable!!! If u wnat sooner u go for it !!! Whatever causes u less stress!!!
