My Dress came in today!!! Should I take pics?

YEah, my dress came in Today!!!

But,
I don't know if I want my mom to take a pic of me in the dress now? I kinda want to save it for the wedding pics... Is that being stupid?? I'm thinking it's 'bad' luck to take pics before-hand... but My Grandma is in a Nursing home, and this would be the only way to show her my dress on, before the wedding...
Am I being stupid?? What do you guys think? Pic or No-pic?

I vote pic!!!!

That way you get to see exactly what you like and don't like and can MAKE CHANGES!!! To me that's crucial!

But, sometimes, I understand why the bridal shops tell you NOT to take pics (even after the gown is yours) It's because without your hair all done up, the exact veil, the exact makeup, the exact glow of that day -- you'll never see yourself as beautiful as you will that day so they may actually be a little disappointing.

Take pictures, you won't look like you will (with your hair and makeup) on the day of the wedding when you go to try it on. Take pictures!!!

ok, i think i'll take pics... but i'm sick now... so hopefully I will be feeling better on Friday when I pick it up! (mad that FI got me sick, on my last week of vacation! doh!)
