I went to order my bridesmaid dresses when the owner told me that my dress is discontinued. It was only in produciont for 5 MONTHS!!!!
BUT... I had ordered mine and it has been in since last year! But it is a lesson to any bride, if you like a dress, don't sit around and wait...

Wow...5 mos That's nuts! I thought dresses were around for at least a year!

Jen, I found out last week that my BM dresses were also discountinued (I am glad they ordered them and they have been in the shop for 3 months now). They were new too. They were only about 6 months old.

That is what I am nerbous about too Lisa. I did not see it haning there anymore but I checked out the website and they are still showing it. Keep your fingers crossed!

It is a Forever Yours. The funny thing is I went on to bridesave to look at the picture and it was not there like it usually is. But I didn't think much of it. When she told me I couldn't believe it because some of their dresses look like they have been around too long. (80's styles)

Now you've got me nervous! I found a dress in Kleinfeld's that I loved but I wanted to keep looking to make sure there was nothing better. Well, there isn't! I want to go back and get it, I hope it's still there! Wish me luck.

I had already ordered it. I should have explained myself a bit better. I ordered it last January. When I went to place my bridesmaid dress order, she had told me that they discontinued my dress after 5 months. But it has been in since last year and they are storing it for me.

that is why I ordered mine in may and the BM when I found them in Nov. There was no way, escpecially with the BM that I was going to look again for theirs.
Jen, try calling another salon to double check. I had a place tell me the BM dress was discontinued and it wasn't. Worth a shot.

When I went to look at bridesmaid dresses, they put me in the computer so that in the case that the dress is discontinued, they can give me a call to let me know!

everyone made fun of me when i made them order the dresses so early, but i wrote alfred angelo and ASKED them about the discontinuation date of the dress I wanted and so i knew if I wanted that dress how much time I had to get it. If I had waited till the 'normal' time I would have missed out.
