What a beautiful dress!! I love it!! August should be fine for your first fitting. Most of the girls on here recommending checking on your dress as soon as it comes in to make sure everything is all right.

Yes I am!! I grew up in the 5 towns - I love Father Reilly - I couldn't get married anywhere else. Are you from there as well?

It's beuatiful! don't think it's too early--i am getting married the same day as you and my dress came in this past september! over a year before! no worries!! I would go now though, just to see it and make sure all is well!

I am not from there, but FH's family is and is aunt was a member for a long time and she just passed away this past November , and he was very close to her, so we felt if we got married there, she would be with us.
We are also having Father Reilly, he's so sweet!

I haven't spoke to Father Reilly since I booked the church. Have you? I feel like there's something I should be doing.
I got my dress from Bridal Reflections in Massapequa. It's a Marisa...they are reasonably priced (w/alterations, tax, etc. it should be slightly under $2,000). They have it for a little less at Lillete's in Baldwin.
