my dress place does the first fitting

5 weeks before for BM dress and for my dress...is that enough time?

I always thought it was actually much closer to the wedding! But I really don't know. I always imagined though it would be like two weeks before, in case jitters lead to weight change.

edited for the first fitting.. not the final fitting because I can't read

I think its fine.. unless you think you need a lot taken in and then I'd say whats the harm in trying it on when it first comes it??

I know when my dress comes in I'm running to try it on no matter how far in advance it is from the big day!
