My dress won't be in until January! :(

I called today to find out if my dress would be in soon. When I ordered it in March, they had told me 6 - 10 months for it to come in. So, I was told to call in September & when I called they said that it won't be in until January. When I asked why so long, they said that since my wedding is in May I should start my fittings later on anyway. I want to see my dress!!!!!!

Who is the manufacturer? where did you order it?

Find the manufacturer's number and call them, as well as the ower/manager of the store. I wouldn't sit and wait.

I would be mad Jess. If they told you earlier than they should get it for you. I would demand to speak with the owner, if they are a chain, I would ask to speak to the district manager or the general manager..I d let them know how upset you are. It doesnt matter when yoru wedding..it matters when you ordered it! Tell em you switched your date and you need it sooner. Yor dress is BEAUTIFUL though..( you sent me a picture before)..you are going to be one GORGEOUS bride!!!!!!

Actually I think it may be my fault, I think they said 6-10 months so I assumed maybe September (I figured this out after talking to my dad) So I will call again in November & ask for an update. I guess I'm just looking for something to worry about! Thank you so much though!!!!

Jess: I would be mad also They shouldn't have told you 6-8 mos if it was going to get here in January. I would definitely have a talk with them. It's the prinicple.

As for the fittings, they're right. My salon told me to go for my first fitting in Jan or Feb.

Thanks guys you are so sweet My dad and I are going to stop by next month to pick up my veil & ask them what is going on. He said to me today 'it will be hard for them to diss you in person!!!' Plus he'll be there and can be scary when needed!
