My DUHH moment for today

We have auditors here for the week and they both have heavy chinese accents. Our accoutant's name is Mary. One of the auditors comes over to me and says what sounds like 'Are you married' I said no I'm engaged though, he looks at me and said again 'Are you Married' I said no, then he goes MARRIED, M A R Y , I was so mortified this guy was looking at me like I was a ditz and now everyone in my department is having a field day with it

My FH is asian but has no accent. When I visited with his family overseas, I looked like a doe in the headlights half the time, I can really relate to your story
