Not only is it bad for you... but I don't see it being AT ALL necessary for a 14 year old to go tanning... and it's not even for an event. Just because!

Oh noo - that's not good!!!! talk about promoting some twisted self body image.
It's never good to do that but at that age it's just sending so many mixed signals.

THAT is my problem with it. And my neice is gorgeous (srsly, she's modeled and she' been an extra on TV) she's 5'10'' and skinny as anything... beautiful. Not fair, btw... ETA but her self esteem is not what it could be for some reason. She doesn't believe she's beautiful. And doing things like this isn't going to fix the issue I could kill my sister for condoning this.

yuckkkk bad sis! lol i worked for a tanning salon for 10 years! and i heard one of our regular customers just got a positive test back for skin cancer they are trying to passa law but for now, 17 and younger need a parents signature to tan BY LAW. so your sis not only said yes she signed a legal document saying there is risks and your oking that!
