My e-party was a success!
I'll try to write as much as I can, but my eyes are stinging from this terrible cold. I made the centerpieces that Miss Linda recommended and they came out great! As soon as I get my pictures back, I'll post! They were the little castles made out of boxes, rolls, and I put a blown up picture I cut out of Cinderella's castle on the front, so cute! Then I bought the horse and carriage set for $2. a piece at this favor store in Hicksville and put them in front. I also had personalized matches, napkins, and pencils. The pencils had our save the date on them and went with a little stationary I printed that read 'Wit, Wisdom and Wishes...Rules of Engagement for Beth and Evan' I got back some adorable and some really funny notes! I also printed little our story books on stationary sheets that I folded like a program. In the castles were all different favors, Save the Date magnets, champagne bubble glasses, cinderella frame, cinderella shoe bottle opener, playing cards (which came in handy during the party with my old college friends) and some little things I picked up here and there. Along with the books etc. Everyone absolutly loved them, and my family told me they saw people eagerly digging in to see what little surprises were inside. Not a single favor was left behind! I think thats because people got to choose one that they really liked. Well, if the wedding flies by nearly as fast as that night did, I don't think I'll remember a single thing. My FI and I still can't believe how fast it went. The only regrets we had were that I never got a picture of him and my ring or anything that would show it was our e-party and not Christmas or something. My DJ didn't play enough slow songs and that really bothered my parents. The hall thought we were having a party from 8-12 but it was from 6-10. They weren't set up when we got there, but everything was fixed. All in all it was a huge success and I hope some people that are looking for e-party ideas and get some help from my review! ![]()
Also, I did so much personalization stuff b/c I wanted to see how the vendors were as a trial run before I used them for the wedding. They were all from Ebay and I was thrilled!
