I'm soooooo upset! My engagement ring is breaking! FH 'created' it.... chose the band, setting and diamond... NOW the setting is breaking off where it is soddered and one of the prongs broke off!!!! I'm sooo upset. I'm happy my diamond didnt fall out! Fh got it at CAmbridge Jewelers in Roosevelt Field Mall.... but i cant go all the way there.. i'm too busy.

One of the prongs broke on my e-ring and the jeweler fixed it for free. Don't wear it because the diamond can easily fall out. Don't worry it only takes a few days to fix.

I had to leave my ring once too, they found that one of the prongs was loose, it's scary having to leave it, but I am sure you will get YOUR diamond back. Good luck

OMG I'm sorry to hear that. As much as you don't want to part with it, you need to get it fixed asap. That way you won't lose the diamond.

my setting was loose too and we brought it to get fixed last weekend and they took it from me for 15 min and came back and I was sooo paranoid that it wasnt my diamond but it was. only downfall, its LOOSE AGAIN!! I never thought I would say this but I want a smaller stone!

that where im gonna go, the diamond district... i know i could get it fixed for free somewhere else on long island... wither where he got it from or my friends mom is a jewler in smithhaven.. but i cant wait til i get out there..

be patient and make sure it's done right!! you have to go to someone you trust...i wouldn't worry about how long it takes. you've got time till the wedding...
