My E-ring Broke!

I'm soooooo upset! My engagement ring is breaking! FH 'created' it.... chose the band, setting and diamond... NOW the setting is breaking off where it is soddered and one of the prongs broke off!!!! I'm sooo upset. I'm happy my diamond didnt fall out!
Fh got it at CAmbridge Jewelers in Roosevelt Field Mall.... but i cant go all the way there.. i'm too busy.

Gennaro Jewelers in Bellmore has a diamond setter there 2 x a week who will do it in front of you , so you never have to leave your diamond.

can you get maybe someone in your bridal party to do it or your mom or someone like that who you trust??! i'd HATE to be without my ring!

i dont have a BP.. and my mom lives too far out.. its ok, im gonna go see what i can do on Tuesday
