My e-Ring is getting loose! Need jeweler reference please

I have been working the wedding diet and excersize plan, and happily it is working...but now my engagement ring is getting loose. Its sliding all over my finger, and I did the shake test last night at home and it slid off so I need to get it resized or have a guard put on. FH bought the ring upstate, and that is the only jeweler he has taken the ring to for cleanings, etc. But I dont want to wait to have my ring resized.

If you have any good reliable jewelers in the Nassau/Queens or NYC areas please let me know. I may just have a guard put on, as I know my rings tend to get tighter in summer months.

Congratulations on your weight loss! you might want to try and put the 'balls' in the ring for a nice fit, I put the platinum balls in mine and it's perfect.

Nubride, how funny, someone at my office just mentioned that to me as an option instead of a guard. Are the balls removable?
