MY ENGAGEMENT PARTY

Hi Everyone!

I haven't posted for a while because I was so busy planning for my e-party and the holidays but I wanted to share my review and some pictures from the big day!!

We rented out a Greek Restaurant called Ammos in NYC on December 30th. We had roughly 150 people and we had the entire restaurant to ourselves for 7 hours!!! We opted to have a cocktail party/open bar for the entire time AND a live Greek band. We wanted to do something very light and fun, and reminiscent of a fun night out at Greek bouzoukia (aka Greek nightclub) and sure enough, the night turned out EXACTLY as we had envisioned it. The only issue that we had was that we really anticipated MORE food and was a little disappointed by what we actually got that night, but we didn't let that bother us in the least. We just kept dancing and pretty much said 'it is what it is'.

I was so satisfied with the way that things turned out that I actually said that I didn't want to have a wedding after our party because there was no way we could top it, but of course now, I am so excited and eager to start planning. My only issue now is that I can't decide on whether I want a wedding HERE or in Greece (but I'll save that for another post)

I started Liberty Travel on Monday- :) everything just worked out for the best in the New Year!

PS - have a NY wedding. (JMO) if you remember i had all booked in Miami, but @ the End....everyone was right- it wouldn't feel right if certain people couldn't make it (yaanoo what i mean) again JMO!

We'll be @ Central on Sat ,elate!

Ya know Vicky mou, I really am torn between what I wanna do and part of me feels like it just wouldn't be right if I had it anywhere BUT here in NY, but it's SO expensive...I don't think we CAN!

UGH.
