my engagement party is this weekend! (with pictures)
My engagement party is on Saturday and I'm starting to get really excited. I've been gathering all of the decorations, etc and I'm SO psyched, I need to share.

Decorations:
We went to Cedarhurst Paper and got a couple of banners to hang:
we got two of these:
and one of these:

Today I went to home depot and got a dozen of these citronella candles in these pretty buckets (my cat kept deciding she wanted to be on camera... I swear I didn't put her there!):
We're giving these out as favors. Mini heart-shaped bubble bottles from Oriental Trading Company:
Then Tuesday I went to Michaels (and spent a buttload of money...) and got a whole bunch of stuff.
I bought about 15 of these small flower vases (only $1 each!) and tied yellow and blue ribbon around them:
I'm going to cut wildflowers and flowers from my dad's garden and use them on each of the tables. Here are a few samples (they're a little wilty right now because I did them a couple of days ago. They'll look nicer when they're fresh):

And I decided to do a Wish Bowl for the party. I really like how it turned out, so I might actually just use the same one for the wedding.
And because it made me laugh, my cat being a diva and getting in the way while I tried to take wish bowl pictures:
