so i've been told by my aunt moh.. my grandmother and aunt want to be 'included' but i dont know what to have them do? my aunt has suggested i call and invite them to a tea or something where i can apprise them of whats happening and make plaons with thme.. i personally think that's a waste of time. but i told her i'd do it.. i also told her i'd call my grandma and tell her i want to take her shoppnig for her dress..
thing is i think they are looking at my wedding and thinking of theirs (my mom and aunt's) frmo the 70's .. where they got married at a hall and someone decorated, someone brought linens, someone ordered chairs, someone brought plates.. my aunt asked me something bout where was i getting the napkins from.. i'm like the catering hall..
so there isnt much for them to do? (unless my granny taught herself photoshop and can design my placecards..)
any suggestions for how i can include my aunt, and grandmother and cousins more in my wedding?

Re: my family feels left out..
They probably just want to hear about all your planning. I know that my 3 aunts love to hear about every little thing that I do. Every so often, I update them on vendors I'm looking at, ideas I have for the reception, any little thing I have been working on. I know you are a lot closer so you are pretty much done with most of your big stuff but maybe you could ask their opinion on ceremony music or something like that?

Re: my family feels left out..
Ive founf that people just want you to share what your plans are.
Maybe just invite them over and share what you have booked, show them your photographers website. Share how you want to do a special dance with so and so and ask them what they think.. something to that effect.
I asked my grandma to come dress shopping wiht me my mom and sister and she was the happiest person on earth!
