my FG gown arrived (pic)
i took a chance by ordering the dress online and i'm glad i did! the online store is based out in China and since the flower girl gowns i wanted here in NY were expensive (in the $300 range), i decided to try
purchasing it off Lightinthebox.com.
it took 3 weeks for it to arrive but it came yesterday and it is beautiful! i was surprised when it came though because it was in a really small box (see pic). the dress was inside-out and covered in plastic and packed real tight to fit in the box. i've been emailing their support staff ever since i placed the order because i was getting worried that it'll never come but it finally arrived AND their support staff were very prompt in responding to my inquiries.
i ordered the dress in gold and it was perfect! it's taffeta material with a few organza in the bottom. the color of the beads was also matched to the gold color of the gown - they placed clear, copper-ish and champagne colored beads that went well with the gown. the only difference i noticed was that the flower was different from the picture (the photo had 3 flowers, the actual gown i received only had 1. but no biggie there!). the inside of the skirt had 4 layers to it which gives it a fuller effect.
honestly, for $100, i am surprised at the quality of the materials used and the design of the dress. it's definitely more bang for my buck!
for those who are still looking for FG gowns, i'd say go check the site out! (they have adult gowns as well but i'm not too confident about that! hehe.)
